Caritas Place, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit agency established in 2007 with the vision to provide a village community, Caritas Place Village, in the Lincoln area. Caritas Village will include residential living (both group homes and independent living), education, recreation, and employment opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities.

Cottages will consist of four private bedrooms with on-site 24 hr. staff. Independent Living units will be one bedroom units. Life skills education and employment training will be integrated into village life. The village will be a dedicated acreage with active interaction between residents and the community of Lincoln.

Caritas Place Village will engage other community organizations dedicated to this population. Through collaboration with other housing organizations, the
village will provide alternative residential environments. The village option will be the residence of choice for some individuals.
