Beautiful buildings and natural scenery meet in the village of Cuenca.

When you go to Spain there are probably so many things on your mind; beautiful nature, historical site, delicious foods, etc. People have different tastes about their holiday and Spain can offer anything you want from the natural wonder to crazy nights. But if you want to have a slow and serene Spain holiday in a beautiful place with combination of natural and historical view, you better visit one of Spain’s villages.

As we know a village will always give serene and calm situation without traffic problem. We get up in the morning to breathe the fresh air and listen to the music of nature with birds singing and others villager’s activities make wonderful music. We can walk through the village and receive amazing hospitality from all people. It is something money can’t buy, and of course it is impossible to be found in a crowded and busy city. Spain itself have several amazing villages which you may never find elsewhere.

One famous village to visit is Cuenca. It offer amazing an landscape in the junction of two rivers. I don’t know about you, but water is always a great attraction to me. Cuenca has a combination of medieval masonry and cantilevered balconies. The architectural is exceptional and it has one of the finest modern art museums named Cuenca’s Museo de Arte Abstracto Espanol.

Santilana del Mar can be next choice with the pretty view and historical vacation that make you really feel like you live in the Middle Ages. It is actually a small village with only six blocks yet have so many Romanesque houses and mansions. Not only the building but the ironstone streets make it so historical. And believe it or not you can buy fresh milk from people’s stable doors which is so like classic Middle Ages living.

There are so many other villages you may very interest to go to such as Zafra, Baeza, Carmona, Ronda, Mijas, Cadasques, and much more. Each village offer different beauty and different experiences.
